This is Nina’s story — she is almost 40, she has a caring husband, a son and her favorite job as a speech therapist. Nina is happy, she has a quiet and measured life. The family idyll is disrupted
by an unexpected call from the past. Ruslan, Nina’s former lover, is seriously ill and asks her to come to Tbilisi, the city where they were once happy. Nina hesitates, but eventually agrees to accept the invitation. Her husband doesn’t mind — he trusts Nina and sees nothing wrong with his wife being able to say goodbye to the man she once held dear. However, a short trip into the past will abruptly change the lives of all the figures in the story…
