Frenchman
He — a hereditary aristocrat, Baron Paul de Rousseau — lived in a luxurious castle near Paris and dreamed of a real sincere feeling. Alas, in his situation it was almost impossible: women sought Paul’s society solely due to his wealth and position in society. The only salvation for the romantic soul of the baron — the letters of a Russian girl Ira, who found through a marriage agency faithful valet Guillaume.

She is a modest translator Anna. Having graduated from Moscow State University, she did not look for a prestigious job in the capital and returned to her native Deaf Potma. From despair she decided to marry a trucker Lenchik. The only thing that saved Anna from homesickness was the letters she wrote to France on behalf of her friend Ira. By a happy accident, fate decided to bring the two heroes together.

And this meeting changed not only their lives, but also the fates of all the inhabitants of a quiet provincial town…
