The Curator
In the regional center Kuznetskiy, the mayor was murdered in his own office. The killer is Dimur Kavsadze, an associate of the Kuznetsky administration in commercial development. A flurry of public disquiet descends on the city. Alexander Danilin — an unspoken curator, an intermediary between business and the authorities, is included in the usual work to eliminate trouble and normalize the life of Kuznetsky. The cause of the tragedy was a construction site, which like a tumor is growing around Kuznetsky, being a source of profit for the authorities and local developers. It "devours" free land, people’s souls and even that which seemed to exist outside the law of benefits — the family. Neither people’s deaths nor common sense can stop the construction…

Being a fiction of the authors, the movie is based on real events that took place in the Moscow region in 2015, which received scandalous fame as "The Story of Krasnogorsk shooter".
